Since 1990, JH St\u00e5lindustri has produced stainless steel tanks for dairy processing plants in Scandinavia. We mainly provide pressure free processing and cleaning tanks, but we have also produced a vast number of outdoor storage tanks that are still used in the dairy industry.[\/vc_column_text]

    The CIP-Process works without having to remove or take apart tubes and equipment to do the cleaning. In the CIP-Process, a special kind of detergent, rinse aid and disinfection agent are pumped through the same tube lane as the products have been in order to remove any bacteria from the internal surfaces.<\/p>\n

        For these products there is often a need for heating and\/or cooling of the product inside the tank. To account for this, an exterior thermal cape is welded onto the product wrap.<\/p>\n

        If you are unsure of how this works, JH St\u00e5lindustri can help calculate the cape area. This is calculated based on which production line the process tank will be a part of. The tanks are usually made with acid-resistant steel EN 1,4404 (316) and covered with EN 1,4301 (304) on the outside.<\/p>\n

        Insulation<\/h2>\n

        Indoor tanks will always be covered with a fully welded stainless-steel cape. Outdoor tanks will often be storage tanks that are larger than 80 meters cubed and will also be a minimum of 8 to 10 meters in height. This makes it necessary to have the essential service equipment on the top.<\/p>\n

        As a result, the tank will be insulated and covered with a fully welded stainless-steel top that is possible to walk on. This top will contain non-slip painting, railings, and ramps to provide security for those that need to access it.<\/p>\n

        Any product manufactured by us will come with a complete set of documentation. This will include material certificates, welding procedures, manufacturing procedures, material traceability, and more.<\/p>\n
